I definitely see some Serenity in this. The bridge shape, the twin engine design. I really like the idea of placing cargo in the back. While Serenity is an elegant ship, having cargo in the belly makes it look bulky. However, I think the engines don't need to be so far out from the hull. Maybe they can be immediately on the side of the hull and maybe even somewhat integrated with the hull. I don't plan on making this ship capable of entering atmosphere and therefore VTOL design (engines that can turn) isn't necessary.
What do you think?

Kinda looks the the Landspeeder from A New Hope, crossed with the Serenity from Firefly
